ARIA @ Darling Harbour

After last night’s food comatose sleep, I am thinking of the gourmet meals of excellence had at ARIA. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness……it was devine.

This trip taken to Sydney is for one of my cousins wedding whom we all have a soft spot for as Linda has battled health issues most of her life and tomorrow we get to see her in the big meringue to marry her sweetheart Peter. Sorry Lindy loo, putting you aside, we ventured to ARIA in nice attire to match the “culture” of Sydney. We pull up in the cab and we are school girls once again, bouncing, giggling and thinking of what was to come. Little did we know the depth of enticing delights were coming our way.

We go in, the Maitre D meets us, takes us to the dining room which of course is lit in a warm seductive manner and wow what a view. The harbour bridge is just there and the opera house, breathtakingly magnificent.

So, ARIA definitely delivered. On ALL levels. Service was terrific, cocktails were the best i’ve tasted, and then there was the food. 4 courses plus appetizers, breads and petite fours. OMG it was jaw droppingly scrumptious. This is the first restaurant ever I have dined in that gave more than 3 courses or just some pub grub like home. Mouthwateringly exquisite i think. All fresh, all local, all made with love. I will repeat all made with love and just completely created with precise precision.

As you can read my visit to ARIA was amazing. As a foodie and a lover of food and how it’s created, it was a dream of mine to have a meal just like this in my life. I do wish to have more in the future but in the off chance i can’t, i am content with this one experience that ARIA has given me. If there is any doubt in your mind whether you should spend a couple of hundred dollars on a fabulous fine dining experience, DO IT! You will love it!! It is worth every cent!! Thanks #ARIA, #MattMoran and the staff at this terrific establishment, I will see you again!!
